Should I get baptized?

Baptism is a unique event in the church where an individual symbolically identifies with the life, death & burial of Jesus Christ (dying to sin and self), and identifies with the resurrection of Jesus Christ (raised to a new life in him). Baptism is a public declaration of this identification that was commanded by Jesus himself for all who would choose to follow him. If you have put your faith in the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and have chosen to give him total control of your life – you are ready to be baptized!
