Every week includes daily fun, games, skits, singing silly songs, crafts, age-appropriate interactive bible story learning, and themed afternoon adventures (onsite and off). Every child receives a t-shirt at the start of the week & a team photo at the end of the week. Each day starts at 9 am and ends at 4 pm.

Camp Sunday!
Bring your famliy and friends for some Day Camp fun! Each summer we have two Camp Sunday Parties where we come together to celebrate day camp with skits, songs, games and a slideshow of camp adventures from the previous weeks! There will be a BBQ following the main program as well as carnival games and prizes to be won!
Dates: Sunday July 20th and/or Sunday August 17th, 2025

Grade 6 to Grade 9
LIT 1 - July 21 - 25, 2025 (5 days)
Introduction to leadership development, team-building games and activities, classic camp fun with friends new and old, and a chance to learn what it means to be a camp leader at Willow Creek Day Camp. This camp is available for youth going into Grades 6 to 9.
LIT 2 - Aug. 5-8 and continues Aug. 11 - 15, 2025 (9 days)
Going deeper into what it means to be a leader! Learn how to organize a camp activity, create and participate in team-building activities. This camp will be two weeks long; week 1 is leadership development focused and during week 2 LITs will be putting what they have learned into practice within our Adventure Day Camp (JK-Gr. 5). Each LIT can choose from a list of options where they would like their placement to be. Some choices may include camp leader, activity/craft-specific leader, technology leader, or stage/skit leader, to name a few! This camp is available for youth going into Grades 8 or 9 and who have completed the LIT 1 program (or LIT 2022).
LIT Camps will equip and encourage basic leadership and team-building skills you can take anywhere – along with equipping we will also just have age-appropriate youth camp fun.

How To Register
Online Registration
Registration will be open Sunday, February 23rd, 2025, at 1 PM. First time users will need to create a household account, then can add their children and register them at the same time.

Upon registration, you will receive confirmation and a receipt, and then a few weeks before summer, you will receive a confirmation email with more information as to what to expect during your week at camp.
You may login any time after registration to vew your statement and purchase any camp add-ons such as Wednesday Pizza Lunch or Day Camp Swag!
One Week of Camp Per Child
You may only sign up for one week of camp per child, like last year. Families may sign up for additional weeks pending space, beginning May 9th.

Our Mission
Willow Creek Day Camp is a day camp adventure with a difference! Providing an exciting camp experience, we desire every child to gain meaningful, lasting relationships, life-changing Biblical Truths, and life-long happy memories.
Jr. Kindergarten to Grade 5
Our 5-day program is for anyone entering junior kindergarten up to anyone entering grade five.
LIT Leaders In Training
For anyone entering grades six up to entering grade nine, we have two unique camp experiences just for you. LIT 1 is an Introduction to leadership with lots of Youth Camp style fun! LIT 2 is specific leadership training and provides and opportunity to put new skills into actions! (*Note LIT2 is only for grade 8 & 9 and is a 9 day program)
Our History
Willow Creek Baptist Church highly values family and emphasizes the importance of programs for youth and children. Our Day Camp, akin to Vacation Bible School, is a key component of our summer activities for children and has grown to include programs for Jr. Kindergarten all the way up to grade 9.
Known locally as the 'lizard camp,' Willow Creek Day Camp is celebrated for its loving atmosphere and exceptional staff. In 1996, Pastor Doug Watson took the visionary step of expanding the program from a half-day to a full-day format, establishing the camp as it is today. Driven by a commitment to make the camp accessible to every child, we introduced a scholarship program. Thanks to the generosity of our community, including Willow members and parents of campers, each year we are able to welcome children who otherwise might not have the chance to experience our Day Camp.
